Not only is this organizer well thought out and a huge shelf-saver for a big game, but dealing with TinkeringPaws was a great experience. Communication, packaging and speed of fulfillment were all top notch. The PDF document that has been drawn up for how to populate the organizer and pack it into the box is one of the best examples of such a document for any game insert or organizer on the market. Everything was very professional and well done!
This item was a great Christmas gift for my roommate ! And he loved it.
OMG! I am still in awe of this set! Just, wow! I can't even imagine how long it took to design these inserts. Incredible work. A+ all the way. It does cost quite a bit of dough, but it is worth every penny. *Note: In my pic you don't see my player boards or manual because they sit flat on top of the inserts and I wanted you all to see how it all goes perfectly in the box.
The Star Trek Ascendancy insert is very impressive. It does hold the entire game very well and fits in the box. There are a few things to consider. The faction boards have to stack on the top and since there are 7, one has to sit on top of another so with the rules, the box doesn't fit quite flush. It's close but something to consider. The print quality is very good, no strings of filament or errors were found. Do be aware the walls are pretty thin so care must be taken when extracting sections holding heavy components like the warp lines or you could break them. A big advantage of a 3D printed insert is the low weight compared to wood. But be aware the amount of cardboard content held in the box makes it really heavy. So be careful handling.
Excellent insert! Everything fits perfectly and SO well thought out. At first I was worried that it wouldn't fit all the bits (ascendancy, command, etc), but they worked in space for each race's starting pieces as well, so EVERYTHING fits perfectly in the box. Makes setup and packing a lot easier, and got rid of ALL the bags-o-bits. Quick note: It can store vertically, you just have to be careful with it. Only recommendations: Lids for the other races would be cool as well, though not required due to the great fit, just personal preference. Edit: sta.tinkeringpaws.de for instructions!!! Definitely 5 stars! Worth the cost if you have all the stuff!
