Withdrawal Policy

The following information describes the statutory right of withdrawal under German law. Mandatory consumer rights that apply under the law of a consumer’s country of habitual residence remain unaffected.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer and a statutory right of withdrawal applies to your contract, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

Physical goods

For physical goods, the withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, take possession of the goods.

If several goods ordered as part of one order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins when you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, take possession of the last item.

If goods are delivered in several lots or pieces, the withdrawal period begins when you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, take possession of the last lot or piece.

Digital content, including STL files

For digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, including downloadable STL files, the fourteen-day withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded.

However, the statutory right of withdrawal expires before the end of this period once we begin performance of the contract if:

• you have expressly consented to us beginning performance before the end of the withdrawal period;

• you have acknowledged that, by giving this consent, you lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins; and

• we have provided you with the required confirmation of your consent and acknowledgement on a durable medium.

Where these requirements are met and the digital content has been made available to you, the statutory right of withdrawal is therefore no longer available.

If a contract for digital content is validly withdrawn before the right of withdrawal has expired, you must not continue to use the digital content or make it available to third parties.

How to exercise your right of withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by an unequivocal statement, for example by letter or email:

You may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but this is not mandatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online by using the clearly labelled “Withdraw contract” function provided in our online shop. If you use this function, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of your withdrawal on a durable medium, such as by email, without undue delay. This acknowledgement will include the content of your withdrawal and the date and time on which it was submitted.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery, except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your decision to withdraw from the contract.

We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with you. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

For contracts concerning physical goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

Return of physical goods

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal:

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day return period has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Customized physical goods

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and are made on the basis of an individual choice or decision by the consumer, or goods that are clearly personalized to the consumer’s needs.

Whether this exception applies depends on the specific configuration of the product and the circumstances of the individual order.

Statutory warranty rights

The provisions above concern the statutory right of withdrawal. They do not limit your statutory rights in the event that goods or digital content are defective or otherwise not in conformity with the contract.
